Collaborative
Excellence.

From the Mission Era of early California through the Ranchero and Pueblo eras, Santa Barbara County winemakers have used traditional, hand-made techniques that still carry on today, combined with the latest cutting-edge innovations in viticulture practices and crafting wine.

Starting with just a handful of producers, Santa Barbara County now boasts more than two-hundred wineries, six American Viticulture Areas (AVAs) and grows more than fifty grape varieties.

Pioneers is dedicated to the ongoing celebration of those visionary wine making Mavericks who led the way, doing their part, to establish the region as a world class wine producer, and known today as "The American Riviera".
